Polk County Cash Rent Survey

Every year, the Polk County UW Extension Office receives questions about current farmland rental rates. These questions come equally from farmers as well as non-farm land owners. To better answer these questions, our office is conducting a farmland cash rent survey.

The Extension office needs Polk County residents’ help with this survey. Your response will enable the office to give out the most accurate information possible when asked about average rent for crop land.

Please report the actual rent to paid or received on up to four separate parcels. If you have data on more than four parcels, report on the largest four. To make fair comparisons, please only report non-irrigated parcels. All data received is strictly confidential. Individual data is destroyed and only aggregate data is published. This data can be sent to the Extension Office in one of two ways:

Fill out the data, click submit and when an email screen appears click send and it will automatically go to the Extension Office. You must have Acrobat Reader Version 6 or above for the form to work properly. If questions, feel free to call 715-485-8600 and ask for Jennifer.

2. The information can also be emailed to jennifer.blazek@ces.uwex.edu  If you email all the pertinent information (i.e. rent per acre, etc.) you do not need to complete the form.
