It is a comprehensive source of information on approximately 390 financial and technical assistance programs administered by Illinois State agencies. Guide to Web Sites for Local Government Officials
Published by the Illinois Commission on Intergovernmental Cooperation, located in Springfield, Illinois. This guide provides a summarized sample of resources, though not exhaustive, available on the Internet. Pre-selected web sites are presumed to contain documents or program information useful to local governments or provide links to other sites that may prove more useful. The guide provides web sites and short summaries that are grouped by Illinois state agencies, statewide associations, federal government, national associations, and miscellaneous national sites. In addition, the appendices provide state government web sites, federal government web sites, popular search engines and a glossary of selected key terms.
